Join our progressive team of engineers and surveyors that have been providing infrastructure design, site engineering, land surveying, floodplain modeling, structural engineering, and construction management to both private and public sector clients throughout Colorado.
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm with flexible work schedule, mostly remote work currently

General Description
The primary function of this position is to execute plan production for land development and survey projects. The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering design and coordination activities for a wide variety of projects. The candidate will also assist in performing field data collections using Trimble GPS and Robotic survey equipment.
Responsibilities
- Plan production, including: the preparation of grading, drainage, street, sanitary sewer, water and storm sewer improvement plans for residential and commercial developments, and public works projects, while adhering to design standards, agency review, and approval process.
- Must have strong technical knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures relating to engineering design for land development projects.
- Organizes and conducts engineering investigations and planning work which have a well-defined scope.
- Adhere to project Scope of Services and budget, and complete projects on time and within budget.
- Prepares miscellaneous reports, including: drainage, irrigation design, water, and sewer modeling, and stormwater management (SWMP) reports.
- Interact with clients and project design team members.
- Assist with performing field data collections with various Trimble platforms, and perform in-house processing.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience with land / site development projects or public works /infrastructure projects.
- The candidate should also have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and calculations (i.e., hydrology/hydraulics, SWPPP, and water & sewer).
- Experience with Trimble GPS and Robotic survey equipment, and Trimble Business Center preferred but not required.
- Extensive experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- HEC-RAS floodplain modeling preferred but not required.
